예비 한국어 교사를 위한 PBL 기반 상호문화교육 방안 연구
본 연구의 목적은 문화 간 접촉 지점에서 발생할 수 있는 갈등 문제를 일상 생활 속 언어문화와 문화의 측면에서 다루어, 예비 한국어 교사들을 대상으로 PBL 기반 문화간 의사소통 능력 및 상호문화 능력 향상을 위한 교수-학습 모형을 제안하고, 해당 문제에 대한 해결 방안 모색 과정을 실제 수업에 적용하여 운영한 사례를 살펴봄으로써 그 의의를 검토하는 것이다. 이에 따라 PBL 기반 상호문화 교육은 '문제와 관련된 전문적인 문화 지식 습득과 심층적 이해의 증진', '자기 주도 학습 및 협동 학습의 효과', '예비 한국어 교사로서 상호문화 이해 능력 향상의 중요성을 인식'하는 측면에서 학습자들에게 의미 있게 제시되었다. 또한, 이 연구는 다음과 같은 중요성을 가진다. 첫째, '일반문화와 언어문화에서 나타날 수 있는 문화 갈등 사례를 살펴봄으로써 학습자와 예비 교사 간에 나타나는 다문화 사이에서 발생할 수 있는 '차이'를 발견하고, 그로부터 빚어질 수 있는 현실적인 '문제' 상황에 주목하여 실질적인 문화 이해를 이끌어내고자 하였다. 둘째, 문화간 의사소통 상황에서 충분히 발생할 수 있는 문제 상황에 초점을 맞춰 보다 실효적인 상호문화 능력 향상을 위한 교육 방안을 학습할 수 있었다. 셋째, 본 연구를 기반으로 구체적이고 실질적인 문화간 의사소통 상황에서의 '문제' 갈등 상황에 주목하여 문제를 심층적으로 탐색하고 분석하고, 그에 대한 원인과 배경, 문제 해결 방안을 학습자 협력 학습을 통해 살펴보면서 상호문화 능력 향상을 위한 교수 방안을 제시하였다.
A Study on PBL-Based Intercultural Education Strategies for Prospective Korean Language Teachers
The purpose of this study is to address conflict issues that may arise at the cultural contact points from the perspectives of language, culture in daily life, and to propose a teaching-learning model for enhancing the intercultural communication and intercultural competence of prospective Korean language teachers based on PBL. This involves examining possible solutions to the identified issues through the process of applying them to actual classes. Accordingly, PBL-based intercultural education is meaningfully presented to learners in terms of acquiring specialized cultural knowledge related to the issues, deepening their understanding, fostering self-directed learning, and the effectiveness of cooperative learning. Moreover, it underscores the importance of enhancing intercultural understanding for prospective Korean language teachers. Firstly, by examining cases of cultural conflict that may arise in general and language culture, the study aims to discover the 'differences' that can occur in multicultural interactions between learners and prospective teachers, and to draw attention to realistic 'problematic' situations that may arise from them in order to foster substantial cultural understanding. Secondly, by focusing on problematic situations that can arise in intercultural communication scenarios, the study provides an opportunity to learn effective approaches for enhancing intercultural competence. Thirdly, building on this research, the study deeply explores and analyzes issues in intercultural communication scenarios, and through cooperative learning, examines the causes, backgrounds, and solutions for these issues. It presents teaching methods to enhance intercultural competence.
