디지털 리터러시 향상을 위한 한국어 읽기 수업 구성 방안
본 연구의 목적은 디지털 리터러시 향상을 위한 한국어 온라인 읽기 수업 방안을 제시하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 한국어 학습자들이 디지털 환경을 통해 더 많은 정보를 접하게 되면서 디지털 공간에서 디지털 텍스트와 독자의 역할 변화를 경험하고 있다. 따라서 디지털 공간에서 학습자들이 의사소통 목적을 달성하고 사회에 참여하기 위해서는 디지털 리터러시가 필요하다. 그러나 한국어 교육에서는 아직까지 온라인 읽기 이해에 대한 기초 연구도 부족하고 온라인 읽기 교육 연구에 대해서도 아직 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본고에서는 디지털 리터러시와 온라인 읽기 능력에 대한 연구들을 분석하여 한국어 온라인 읽기 교육의 적용을 위해 온라인 읽기 기능을 ‘정보 검색하기’, ‘정보 이해하기’, ‘정보 통합하기’, ‘비판적으로 분석하기’, ‘정보를 바탕으로 생산하기’로 정리하였다. 또한 읽기 수업 내용의 구성을 위해 읽기 단계별로 온라인 읽기 이해를 돕기 위한 온라인 읽기 전략들을 정리하여 수업 구성안을 제시하고 실례를 들어 설명하였다. 이러한 연구는 일반목적 한국어 학습자들의 디지털 리터러시 향상을 위한 온라인 읽기 수업을 위한 기초적이고 실제적인 자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.
A Study on Improving Digital Literacy through Redesigning of Korean Reading Classes
In this study, an online Korean reading class is suggested to improve digital literacy competence. As Korean learners are increasingly exposed to a plethora of information through digital platforms, they are experiencing a transformative shift in the dynamics of digital texts and readers within the digital space. Consequently, the cultivation of digital literacy is essential for learners to achieve communicative goals and actively engage in society. In this study, we analyze existing research on digital literacy and online reading, and categorize the essential online reading skills for Korean online reading education into the following domains: “locate online information,” “comprehend information,” “synthesize online information” “critically evaluate online information,” and “communicate online information.” The study recommends specific online comprehension strategies tailored for each stage of reading comprehension to aid in structuring of reading classes.
